of love... and life

i read somewhere:
"every woman has exactly that love life, that she had decided in her mind, when she was 12 years old"

hmm...
as far as i can remember.. when i was 12, i had no love life in mind. but the nearest i can think to that age... was when i wanted a guy who would love me a lot, who would be smart & witty and who would have a walk-in closet to house my shoes. i would also have preferred it if he had a horse.

well, other than the horse, i got it all, then!

you knew of walk in closets when you were that young ??????

When I was that age, I wanted someone who lived in the same small town I was from and one who had a central government job !!

Dont ask, I was crazy and needless to say, I am glad none of that came true :)

yeah, i knew... thanks to cousins who lived in amreeka back then! and i think i was almost 14, then! :D

i was too filmy even then, i guess... to want someone sane and normal! :D

horse eh? I'm sure you can get one as a gift if you stress on wanting it enough times ;)

but at 12? really? i don't think i even wanted to anything..i wanted to be single LOL

no, no... not AT that age. the general... "dream of the future" kinda crap!

and now, i don't think i want a horse! i now know that i'll have to clean the darn animal as well!! :D

at 12 all i wanted was a house full of books. i think i still want the same thing, except now that's what my husband wants too! :)

Titaxy said...

yeah that's what I meant...not at that age, but that 'dream of future' was to live alone and enjoy freedom :P

When I was 12, I was more worried about my "assets"! ;)
They were there, but not there completely!! :D :D
And a guy from high school used to follow me around - I was very tensed about that as well!! :D

Oh GEEZ!!!

Oh and the horse thing reminds me of Plastic Rai in Aur Pyar Ho Gaya walking into someone's wedding with a horse as a present. You should have invited her to yours, maybe you'd have got the horse then :P

rayshma said...

dewey: ok... let me clarify. i wanted the horse till i was abt 16. after that, i realized that there was no apparent use i had for a horse. and no, even if i wanted a horse by the time i got married, i wouldn't get it from plastic rai.
p.s.: are both the comments urs?

pix: seriously?! geez, i did have a boring life! nobody has followed me anywhere. ever! :(

pavi: hai na?! i was silly too... long after i crossed 12, that too! :D i'm glad i got married when i did. any sooner, and i'd have landed up with a moron! :D
and rent hi karna hai toh main ferrari na rent karu?! ;)

tigress: arre you were sensible! and horse.. i can't r'ber very well... but i don't think i wanted HIM to be on the horse. i wanted him to gift ME the horse! :D mad, i was. i think this phase lasted a couple of years.

sev: yeah. the nerve. i guess that's what got me to marry him!

titaxy: oh. nahi, i didn't want to live alone till i was 22/23, i think. in fact, i still don't fancy living alone much...

G: amen! may your dream be fulfilled soon! :)

UTP said...

why do women dream so much? since 12? wow!

DewdropDream said...

Aunty, mere naam se koi aur comment kaiko karega?!

rayshma said...

dewey: celeb log ho tum baba... kya guarantee. WHY would you leave two comments like that was something i hadn't got. i do, now. ;)

UTP: hahahaa.. you should be happy though. if most of us started dreaming when we were older, we'd want a completely diff man and love story! ;)

DewdropDream said...

Celeb kisko bola be? Celeb macchardani pehente hain. Me no celeb! :D

Arre do comment is liye coz I typed them as they came to me. One after another :P

BlueMist said...

LOL at 12 I have no clue what I was dreaming. :P Certainly not the dream guy. :D
I wanted a guy who had great sense in clothes and clean shaved. :P thankfully all fulfilled. :-)

when i was 12,bollywood was a sure shot influencer...i knew i dont want to marry someone who was like AK from QSQT or SK from MPK :-D and it will be tad difficult to have a man like SRK from DDLJ! I wanted a sane man who was brilliant, tall, would be able to fight morons and was not a emotional freak! Too much at 12, but guess i got all of it :-)!

rayshma said...

suruchi: you sure got all of that! :D

bluemist: welcome here! and touche! :)

dewey: now i HAVE to make u wear a machchardani and pose like that! this should go into the "plans for when u're here" list! :D

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm not sure I like the idea, but what the hell. Hum ek baar jeete hain, bring on the fun :D

Wow! that sounds like a cute quote. But I guess it is an extension of whatever you wish from a sincere heart you are granted.
Well like everyone I wanted someone who'd love me like a crazy, but I too had a crazy wish, that he should have a mustache.
I am so glad that God realized I was being silly in asking or a mustache, so he granted my wish with slight editing of removing the mustache and I am so glad he did :) :)

You've got a wonderful blog. Loved being here :)

Keep up the good work.

Cheers!!

Kyun? Tum template pe use kar sakta hai aur main pehen nahi sakta?! EH?! :D

They're kinda chic ... what would you wear with them shoes?

rayshma said...

i wouldn't wear them. ever.
i have an allergy to pink hearts and such...
but if you were to wear them, a little white or baby pink outfit would totally look kewl. that is, of course, my opinion only. i wouldn't know what's "in", so to speak. but don't think you care either! :D
oh yeah, G would call said outfit a frock! :D

DewdropDream said...

:D

I'd love to wear a frock. White and hot pink colour block.

I am NOT going to shop. I am not going to shop. I am not going to shop. I am not going to shop. I am not going to shop...

wanting a horse??!!
u were either impressed by sunny frm betaab (but tht was way back in 1983-84) or with SRK frm Karan-Arjun (1994-95) - tht seems more plausible :)))
